Kentucky Kingdom update
Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom has been closed since 2010. Well now it is said to reopen under the management of Ed Hart. Ed Hart operated Kentucky Kingdom from 1990 to 1998. He brought the attendance from 137,000 to 1.3 million in 8 years. Kentucky Kingdom was the fastest growing theme park with 11 world class attractions in 8 years including Chang, T2, Hellevator, Thunder Run, The Quake, Hurricane Bay, Twisted Twins, and Mile High Falls. Find cool videos and more information about the reopening at www.kentuckykingdom.com.
Invertigo to be removed from CGA
Invertigo will be removed from California's Great America next season. Invertigo opened in 1999. It is a Invertigo model coaster by Vekoma. There is a rumor going around that it may come to Dorney Park in 2012. I have 2 problems with this though. First where are they gonna put it. Second, Dorney Park doesn't need another steel coaster. What Dorney needs is a wooden coaster. The only operating one is Thunderhawk. The last attempt was Hercules and that was 1989 and removed in 2003 to make way for Hydra the Revenge.
Something new at Hershey Park
The Chocolate Capital of the World is home to the Hershey Factory, Hershey Museum, and a world class amusement park dubbed Hershey Park. Something is coming to Hershey in 2012. There are markers all around the Comet Hollow section of the park. What could it be? Can it be a 12th roller coaster added to the park, a drop tower, or a brand new prototype. Sadly Hershey Park isn't leaking any hints to anybody. A coaster can be ruled out at any time because there isn't to much space unless the do what they did with Great Bear and make intertwine with SooperDooperLooper. Who knows? I guess we will have to wait another season.

Coney Island Park Construction Update
Coney Island is building a new park by Zamperla just one year after Zamperla also built Luna Park. Luna Park is aimed for the whole family but this new park is aimed for thrill seekers. The new park will be called Scream Zone. Scream Zone will feature 2 new roller coasters. The 2 coasters are Steeplechase and Soaring Eagle. Steeplechase will be a family coaster and Soaring Eagle will be a suspended coaster to look like a Zamperla Flying coaster. Some examples of some thrills are a Slingshot ride and a Torpedo ride. That is always something to look foward to in 2011 with many other coasters and rides opening next year.

Star Tours Re-Opening soon
As some of us know Disney World has closed down the Star Tours attraction for some rehab. Well now it going to reopen on May 20. The ride is no longer known as Star Tours, it is now known as Star Tours: The Adventures Continue. Some people go the easy way and call it Star Tours 2. The ride is now totally different. It has a new plot, new pilot, new 3D effects, new Starspeeder, new charachters, and a new wide variety of storylines. The original Star Tours attractions are still operating at Disneyland Paris and Tokyo Disneyland. But the ones at Disney World and Disneyland California are closed for rehab. There is no word on when the Disneyland California ride will reopen.

Busch Gardens Europe new coaster becomes official
The new coaster at Busch Gardens Europe becomes official after rumors going around. They plan on using the now defunct Big Bad Wolf station and possibly some areas that the Big Bad Wolf stood. The park must get a waiver for the coaster like every ride that goes over 60 feet.
Ferrari World to be sold
Ferrari World in Abu Dhabi is to be sold after just 3 months of operation. Ferrari World is home to the fastest roller coaster in the world which is Formula Rossa. The reason of the selling is the company that owns Ferrari World is in serious debt. The selling is not expected to affect Foumula Rossa or Fiorano GT Challange which are both coasters at the park.
Green Lantern Update
The new Green Lantern coaster opening at Six Flags Great Adventure has made lots of progress latley. Even though there was alot of snow hitting New Jersey, they fought through it and kept construction going. They have the supports and track for the lift hill of the coaster and the coaster is expected to open late May or early June.

Goofy's Sky School Update
As almost all of us know Mulholland Madness is being rethemed to Goofy's Sky School. The park has come out with some teasers and a video with some hints about the retheming. This coaster opened with the park in 2001 and closed on October 12, 2010. This coaster will get new trains to.
Superman Escape From Krypton to reopen in March.
Superman the Escape was closed for most of the 2010 season. There were many signs saying "Something BIG is happening to Superman the Escape". SFMM was not leaking any hints until they came out with a promo video a few months ago. There were some ideas like one side would be turned around and become Bizarro. Now they decided to turn around both sides.
Texas Giant Testing
The New Texas Giant has started testing after the VERY massive renovation. It will reopen as a part of the new 50th anniversary of Six Flags Over Texas. The Texas Giant will rise over thye skyline again in 2011 and will be a much different ride and a much better ride than it was.

Another Manta Attraction?
There has been a rumor going around that Sea World San Diego will be getting a Manta coaster. The coaster hasn't officially been announced yet but the park is leaking some very small hints about the coaster. It will be a Mack launched coaster. The second in the world and first in the United States. The new coaster will open in 2012.

Battlestar Galactica nears Reopening
After a whole entire season of SBNO, Battlestar Galactica nears reopening. Testing has started up again and hopefully it can operate this year. Battlestar Galactica is made up of 2 different coaster tracks. One of them is a sit down coaster which is more family oriented. The other one is an inverted coaster. This ride will become the new 2011 attraction instead of the 2010 attraction.
News #1
As we know the new Windseeker opening at Knott's Berry Farm has a potential of opening elsewhere in the park. This will save the Sky Cabin ride. Sky Cabin has been in operation since 1976. Since Windseeker's construction hasn't started yet, now is a good time to change plans. Sky Cabin is 2 different attractions, one is a tower ride like Space Spiral and Hershey's Kissing Tower. The other one is a parachute tower like Parachuter's Perch at Six Flags Great Adventure.
